Here you'll find recipes for sweet desserts, such as pie, bread, cookies, etc. Many can be made easily using pint jars of homemade pumpkin butter, although keep in mind that this will result in a slightly sweeter dessert. And please don't be alarmed if the amount of pumpkin butter called for seems different from the amount of plain puree - it really is okay to approximate. Of course, more vegetable content means more moisture, so cooking times may vary a bit. Relax and go for it. If you are using the pumpkin butter, add it to the recipe when it calls for the pumpkin puree and be sure to omit the sugar and spices - remember, it's already in there.
