Some Shrek Stuff

Here is some Shrek-related stuff I have gathered while trying to write Shrek fanfic.

First and foremost is The Map. This is the map that was included with the book put out to promote Shrek the Third and is as far as I am aware, the only canon map of the Shrek world. This same map, minus Worcestershire Academy, was shown briefly in the Ghost of Lord Farquaad short. I had to buy two copies of that dumb book because the first one was missing the map. I have scanned it in so others can have it without having to hunt down the book. (Honestly it's probably already out there someplace on the internet but I was unable to find it when I searched.)

Next is a breakdown of the nine child characters (three ogre, six dronkey) that I have put together for my own fanfic purposes. I have not read anyone else's fanfics, I am only going by what's canon that I am aware of, vague things that I have read online, and finally my own idea for their personalities just so I can keep them straight because, you guys, that's a whole lotta kids. Plus four of the six dronkeys look identical, what else am I gonna do.

The Ogre Triplets

The three ogre children are from left to right: Felicia, Farkle, and Fergus. For my fanfic purposes their basic personalities are:

Felicia: pretty classically girly, likes to play dolls, all that jazz
Farkle: a little off, kind of quiet and prefers more subdued activities like coloring
Fergus: rough-and-tumble, acts like he doesn't like coddling (but probably really does)
Pretty straight forward stuff really.

The Dronkeys

Here is a screengrab I took at the end of Shrek 2 showing all six original dronkeys (it's next to impossible to screenshot these boogers because they are always moving when all on screen at once and motion blur ruins everything). It has to be noted that Eclair, the red dronkey, is a bit of an enigma as while she appeared with the others at the end of Shrek 2 (when we first see the dronkeys) she is never seen or mentioned again after that. Even though it just makes for more kids to keep track of I have decided to include her in my fics, but she's just another reason I needed this guide. The only other dronkey who looks a little different from the others is Bananas, who has green eyes and looks a little dopey, he's the one Donkey calls his "special boy." The other four literally just look identical to one another. (By the way, just an additional note and I don't know if it's true, but I have read around the internet that it was said somewhere that Debbie was named after one of Dragon's relatives. It's pretty obvious Donkey named the others.)

Eclair (girl): loud, pushy, and can be rude
Bananas (boy): the special boy, he doesn't talk much
Peanut (boy): the smartest, usually has the best ideas for games to play
Coco (girl): the most destructive, likes to set things on fire
Parfait (boy): tends to whine and interrupt
Debbie (girl): likes more girly stuff and therefore gets along best with Felicia

I found this Shrek universe timeline on Dork Shadows' Tumblr; I don't know if I will adhere to this exactly but I was looking for a breakdown of how much time had passed betwen the first and fouth movies and this answered it well enough so I am posting it here.
