October 20, 1984, Saturday Night Live, Host: Jesse Jackson - "Ed Grimley In First Class"
The Reverend Jesse Jackson, in the first class section of a plane bound from Hawaii to New York, is tired and just wants to sleep the long 9-hour flight. Unfortunately Ed Grimley is sitting beside him. Ed bores Jackson with the tale of his Wheel of Fortune appearance - among billions of other things. Finally when it looks like he might quiet down, Ed spots a demonlike figure outside the window, tearing up the wing. He freaks out, twice, before Jackson gets annoyed with the skit and storms off the set.
