I saw this probably in 1966. It is one movie that stayed with me all through my life. Just as, "To Kill a Mockingbird" which I saw when I was five in 1963. Anyway, I just watched it today on Netflix. Have you knoticed the animation in the beginning is the same type of animation for Lemony Snicket's Unfortunate Events??

I am watching it now.love this movie! was so excited to get on DVD this year hope to get my grandchildren to watch it.Have not seen this in years but still happily singing along to the songs and saying the lines before they do.
