Scuzzo the Clown is Beetlejuice's most notorious rival--but unlike BJ, Scuzzo knows how to cover up his tracks and avoid confrontation with the law. Scuzzo has also generally been more successful in business self-starters than Beetlejuice: i.e., where "Clown Burgers" failed, "Clown Books" is still very much in business. Scuzzo has a knack for being in the right place at the wrong time in order to show Beetlejuice up, and generally humiliate the ghost, who fortunately is usually able to wreak some kind of revenge on the sadistic clown.
